Ever since I can remember photography has had an important role in my life and I have had a camera in my hand. My family always captured memories with videos and photographs that we often look back on. I love how photography can make time stand still, show human expression, and allow us to relive memories and stories.
I find beauty in the art of photography and the breathtaking world God created. My goal as a photographer is to give you something you can look back on again and again remembering exactly what you felt. I believe in photographing sincere moments over stiff poses. Nothing makes me happier than capturing your emotions, dynamics, and quirks. I love meeting new people like you and listening to what makes you, you.
When I am not behind the camera, I am working full-time in Higher Education as a Director of Student and Enrollment Services. I have the pleasure of supporting, advising, mentoring, and empowering college students.
You know I love taking pictures, but I also adore spending time with the people I love the most, my husband Tyson, and daughter Maren. In my free time, I enjoy cuddling with my dog Mox, and making other people’s junk my treasure by re-purposing, organizing my house, and trying something new. I am a lover of Twizzlers, sushi, Christian music, and coffee.
Lastly, I cannot get enough of traveling! There is nothing like experiencing new cultures, tasting new foods, exploring new lands, and meeting new people. My passport is current and my passion to travel is deep. I studied abroad in the Czech Republic and worked at a Technical College in Ireland. I have traveled to 3 continents, 25 countries, and 42 states, so don’t let the distance between us keep us from connecting.

Photography is currently my side job. I work full-time as a Director of Student and Enrollment Services and Academic Advisor at a college where I have the pleasure of working with students every day. I empower students to find their potential, work to eliminate barriers, and build relationships with students. I have my Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel Administration and work professionally in Higher Education. The highlight of my work has been watching my students’ development. It is my goal to help students who walk through an institution’s doors have access to and knowledge of the resources that surround them.

A few years before I was born, one of my aunts was in a potentially fatal car accident that left her in a coma for over five months. When she woke from her coma, many of her memories and learned skills were gone. She was reminded of lost memories through photographs and relearned how to write and complete daily tasks. After this hard time in my family’s life, photographs became priceless.
Ever since I can remember, photography has had an important role in my family. My family always videotaped holidays and capture memories with photographs that we later looked back on. I remember having disposable cameras in elementary school, opening my first digital camera in middle school, upgrading cameras in high school, and buying my first DSLR in college.
I love how photography can make time stand still, can show human expression, and can bring back memories long forgotten.

Spending time with my family, husband, and friends. Cuddling on the couch with my dog, crafting, and taking pictures.
I do this thing where I say “Positive Vibes” and make spirit fingers! It’s a little weird…I know! haha
